| Report: | Unfortunately Park Langley's no.1 had to drop out at short notice, so, as there were only 3 matches, we decided to use one court and support each game.
Sarah and Georgina had a lovely game, played in the right spirit. Well done Georgina for an excellent win.
Katy met strong opposition from Julie, but once she had her nose in front she wasn't going to let Julie back into the game.
Alison's clever mix of drives, drops and cross-courts proved too much for Glenda, who'd had to move up into the no.1 slot.
Nick Eddy provided a delicious salmon salad (and doggie bags for the surplus). Again we had home-grown strawberries and the surplus were snaffled up and taken home. |
