Report: | "Lucky, lucky, lucky" are the three words that best summarise Parklangley's best looking and most lady pleasing team's performance against their club colleagues.
PL2 took full advantage of a PL3 team that waddled and sweated around the court like piglets running a marathon. Suffering considerably from excessive amounts of prawn toast and duck from the previous Friday's team outing (tenuous excuse but I'm sticking to it) they bashed and bashed but to no avail.
Most games were fairly one-sided affairs with PL2's intensive training regime lead by Dictator Cotton providing crucial. Trevor against Ray was the pick of the games and with Trevsie being 8-4 up in the first he will feel disappointed not to have run Ray closer.
Fear not fellow PL3 players, rules such as "you must attend training every week" and "you must play minimum three time a week" will not be taken on as our mantra.
Enjoyable evening with our good friends who played to a high standard and look good bets to be there or thereabouts come the end of the season. I implore all other Priory 2 teams to put up a better fight of it than we did and prevent their victory at all costs! |
