| Report: | An enjoyable evening. Tough matches despite some scorelines, all played in good spirit and properly marked. The home team were a little depleted in strength and it is hoped that they can continue to field a full strength team which would be good for the club and the league.
Five setter at number 3 with two old boys from Southbank. Thankfully not too many trips to the lavatory required given the bug doing the rounds of south-east London. The number 1's produced some eye-watering 40-50 shot rallies but the home player is a class act and accordingly won. Tight games elsewhere but the home team unlucky not to clinch any. Look forward to the return. |
