| Report: | PL3 welcomed our friends from Dulwich for another enjoyable encounter. Sadly Trev wasn't afforded the chance for revenge vs Ravi who turned out for the 1st who played alongside us.
4. Ed played very well against Trev at 4 and took advantage of his slow start to take the first comfortably. Trev battled back well in the next two but Ed was always a head to claim a deserved win.
2. Fergus had a good game with Steve. Didn't see much of this but what I saw the points were close and of a high quality with Steve just pulling away in the second half of the games, apart from the last one, where Fergus got one point...
3. Olly was unlucky to find Kevin in a rare moment of form - everything that Parklangley's svelte skipper seemed to go in the right place. Olly was close to taking the third which could have caused real trouble for Kevin but a couple of quick shots on the bounce to the match.
5. Mike meanwhile was battling against Rhys. Didn't see this at all but after an apparently close first Rhys took a good win against Mike who is playing well at the moment.
1. The best game of the night was saved to the last, unfortunately it was a dead rubber but there was some excellent shot making on display - a huge number of winners and nicks - and some impressive court movement. The game swung both ways and went to five. Darren was 8-7 up but his cross court drop attempt from the back bounced 3 or 4 times before finding the front wall. Ben pounced on this opportunity and closed out this high quality game.
Dulwich deserved their victory although PL3 went home thinking they maybe could have snatched an extra point or two in some of the games. Enjoyable chat in the bar, let's hope you're are not forced into Div1 for the summer and we'll see you when it is warmer...
