| Report: | I arrived late due to a car issue.
The only game i really saw was Matt v Cathy.
Matt started well applying pressure from the off. This might have led him into a false sense of security as in the second game at 1-8 down Cathy suddenly picked up her game to level at 8-8. It has to be said Matt was a bit lucky to get the next two points. The momentum then continued with Cathy playing some nice controlled squash to win the next. Unfortunately for Cathy a couple of crucial errors and a slight drop in momentum led to Matt finishing the match in the fourth.
Andy vs Matt looked like the pick of the matches with Andy having to fight back to win in five.
Steve and Ian could have both won either of the first two games but it was Steve who did. Once he was two up there was no catching him. |
