| Report: | So off to Poult Wood we go, following a phone call to inform me number 5 was a no show, Gary tucked into a large bowl of pasta to celebrate his first 3-0 walk over win, well done Gary,(his dad looks like Mel from Benidorm!)First on was Chris and Craig, following some good exchanges Chris had plenty of deception to beat Craig, Criag looked a threat but Chris was in no mood to hang around after finding out sausage and chips was next, 3-0. John and John on next, a fast start for TW John, PW John did win a game but was unable to make any inraods, 3-1. Steve and Jake played what seemed to be battle of the injured, Jake limping and Steve trying not to have another heart attack, Steve was in no mood for chit chat and had enough to win 3-1 without the need for an ambulance. Mark 'alien' Gates and Alan next, Mark as usual starting slow and not getting going until I pointed out that he will be dropped if he did not win 3-0, Mark won 3-0. Gary at this point was suffering from stomach cramps and wind, I told him to lay off the chilli sauce. Dave watching rugby was a no show. |
