Report

Report:Cannons came to T/Wells missing there number 1, Mandy and Steve played first on court A, for those who dont know, this is not the show court (sorry Steve) Mandy struggled to find any rythem on what started as a cold court, by the time the court heated up Steve was off playing skillfull squash using all for corners, Mandy put some good effort but could not find a way past Steve. 3-0. Show court was Streett and Albert, Albert has not played recently but looking forward to a glass of red wine which soon found it's way as Streett was looking to volley everything as quick as poss, 3-0. ps. Good luck at the GP's tommorrow whilst you have your testicle removed, from all the boys at T/Wells squash club. Gary and Karen played on the show court also, I did not see this one, some good exchanges with Gary winning 3-0. Hope Gary's dad's (Mel) ear is feeling much better having taken a nasty fall and rushed to hospital for stitches, he was drunk mind you...I played Alan next, good knock up followed by some good effort and plenty of running, all four corners being used and plenty of chasing, lots of sweat and passion, I had it easy though! (thought you might like that Alan?) John 3-0. Chris and Peter for the show court next, Peter asking for some lets early on which I put down to lack of effort from Chris to clear the ball.....as you can guess....the Thain look of disgust followed by the Thain 3-0 win. I did not see this one as I gave the marking to Streett following my poor effort to get Chris pumped. Food was good as was the banter and chatting, nice to see some familiar face's and look forward to playing Cannon's second half.
