| Report: | First on this evening was Steve and Karl, Steve played his energy sapping game which Karl found hard to adapt to, Karl put in the effort but Steve's shots clung to the walls very well, Karl played some good winners but unless 9 in a row where coming Steve was home and dry in 3. Streett and Harvey battled through to see Streett win in 3, Harvey seemed to relax when he realised Streett was marching to victory and played some good winners, not enough to stop the ever running Streett. Psycho Simmons and Chris started with some good rallies which looked evenly balanced until psyhco got going with a fast pace game, some good backhand winners also to win in 3. Mike and Herman next, The knock-up was a close run thing, Herman then played some good controlled squash using all four corners of the court, Mike made good effort to retreive these shots but in the end Herm the Germ was to good, Herm in 3. Last on was Chris and Chris, Thain was the better player with better shots but, Skiller, made Thain play this way with great effort and not willing to lose without a fight, Thain in 3. Great food at the new Pub of choice, The Crown, Good luck for the rest of the season to Wilderness. |
