| Report: | First on Scott & Peter, well all i can say is "You can only play as well as the other person lets you" and i was totally out classed, this new player should be number 1 or 2 in my book! well i would say that but hes one to watch out for i feel he will be getting some very good results!
Second on was Tom & Jolyon, Tom has been playing really well and and looked very comfatable with the pace of the game and controled the ball very well, an outstanding show Well done again Tom!
Third on was Andy Bex v Andy Tun, Andy Bex took the lead and it looked as if he would take the first game but eased off the preasure and lost it, the second game was a 9-0 to Andy Bex and was hotting up for a great match (other than Andy Tun not beeing able to hit a drop lower than the half way line!) but it was not to be, it was likend to Andy Bex was a Vauxhall Corsa with a 6.3 lt engine but it was really a 1.3 lt! by the end of the match, Andy Tun got into his stride and showed some good lenth shots. Well done Andy Tun
Forth on was Duane and Colin,Mr Wobble head had man flu and we all know what that feels like (with the exception of Miss Brind) he was not looking forward to going up against Colin, Colin took the first and it looked like Duane was going down hill fast, but once again Mr Wobble head got stuck in and turned the tables and started to look like Colin could have the man flu! It was also the first match me and Tom have watched Duane play and NOT wobble the head! (its just not the same Duane)
Last on was Steph and Paul, Steph had not had her red bull and was in reverse for the first 2 games (not that i can talk with my result) she then walked behind the back of the courts we grabbed her from behind and force fed 3 cans of the stuff down her gob with the help of a garden hose! this had a great afect and Steph won the next 2 games to make it 2 all. So once again it was 2 all in matches and 2 all in games we had another chace to win 3 - 2! The final game looked like Steph had it in the bag, but Paul was not going to give up that easy, he dug in screeming at him self and managed to get back to an even leavel, i would also like to point out i have never seen some one so determined to win that after winning the next point Paul turned to Steph and rawed in her face "GGGGGGGRRRRRUUUUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" we just needed Eye of The tiger music and it would have felt like Rocky 6! It looked like Rocky i mean Paul was going to take the match, but then Steph said something to the words of "FU....ing COME ON" Everyone on the balcone looked at each other and gassped "was that Steph" WWWWWWWWOOOOOOO it could have gone either way but Steph did the business and finished it off, Well done Steph!
Nick Eagle cooked a great curry which was washed down with some good beer and Lucosade Sport for the better players
So another 3 -2 win for Bexley 2
I think that may change next week with the Rodmishin boys!
