| Report: | After a 2 hour drive down and a run in with some Millwall fans, Dulwich arrived to take on the current 'Summer League Champions'(due to error made by Tim Garner!)and found Andy 2-0 down against Malcolm. As always, Andy looked like he was going to pass out but managed to struggle back to 2-2. With both looking exhausted, Malcolm hit some lucky nicks and managed to pull off the win!
Brendan was up next against Tom and looked like he had just touched down from New Zealand. By the time I got changed, the match was over...3-0 to Tom.
Will and Joe were up next and with the new introduction of the 11 point scoring, Will was hoping to cut his regular 2 hour matches down by half....not to be the case! 2 hours later and 13-13 in the last, Will hit 2 spectacular winners from the back court to take the match.
Woody and Neil played a high quality match and after losing the first, Woody looked to be taking control in the next games. Neil, however, kept cutting the lead to put the pressure on the young saffa. Woody finally managed to seal the match 3-1
All down to Steve and Martin to battle it out! With the Dulwich reputation on the line and the prospect of beating the champions (by default) Steve put up a good fight but Martin was too strong and closed the match out emphatetically with a cross court nick....Rodersham win 3-2.
Good start to the summer league with some great matches using PAR, exciting times.
