Another good night for Bexley.
First up Ben vs Neil.
Good game with Ben going for shots and Neil retrieving well. 3-0
Bexley champ vs Malcolm
Another competitive match, with champ taking the first two games and Malc looking very tired. Some nice chopping low shots and boasts later and we are at 2 a piece (Malc now looking very tired!). Similar to last week, champ had more gas left in the tank and takes it 3-2
“the still new” Jack vs Joe
Excellent match with long rallies, Joe reluctant to go for winners and Jack pushing the pace. At 2-1 up Jack looked strong but the experience of Joe showed in the end. 3-2 to Joe.
Elliot vs Mark
Strong performance from a very mobile Elliot taking it 3-0, just too quick for Mark.
Christian vs “the new” Tom
Tom has been training at least twice now and it is showing, no arguments = not tired.
The crucial game was the 2nd, Tom losing 11-0 with Christian playing some fantastic squash, If Tom had pushed more in that game then he may have seen the rewards later on in the 5th. In a match that could have gone either way Christian edged it 11-8 in the 5th.
Nice chicken curry with good banter from Tom
