Report: | First match Lee got hacked off the court in the first 2 games, he seemed to be sucked into Dan’s game. Dan being very good at it aided by Lee’s 6 or 7 tins and lose shots. After a word in his shell like with regards to tightening up his game and playing more variety of shots in the rallies he won in the 5th quite easily. I did not see Zeb’s game but I hear the least said about it the better. Michael gave his usual excellent performance again a very experience player although I did see this game either but he must have played well to beat Mark. Simon’s game was quite strange really losing the 1st 2 games which the score did not reflect how tight it was he then realised what he was doing wrong using his speed and fitness around the court making few mistakes, one rally in particular was quite amazing, Gordon seemed to round out of ideas and lost in the 5th. As for Charles he played a very good and experience player in Guy, match was played at high tempo with Charles playing the right shots at the right time putting Guy under strong pressure. Guy made good effort in the 3rd which seemed to take the rest of his stamina losing in the 4th quite easily. Well done Parklangley 2 not bad for a 2nd team. Long may it continue and I am quite happy. |
