Report

Report:I think I must be getting up the noses of the hierarchy (spelling ?) and superstars at PL with my little rants about the 3rd teams court allocations. This time we were banished to courts half a mile down the road which we found out about an hour before kick off. Gawd, I'll be getting little red dots appearing on my forhead next !
Another switch with the team this week. Lock,Stock & 2 Smoking Barrells was off on a contract Kneecapping one of the local hoods while Cyborg was back in the lab being re programmed after the human emotions experiment went horribly wrong last week. All he did was throw his racket around the court nearly taking my head off in the process.

Sweaty Sock v Justin
Didn't see much of this one as I was on court but I gather it was a good match with Justin doing enough to close out in 4. Sweaty Sock is threatening to play more than once a week from now on which bodes well for our top order (believe it when I see it though, never take the word of a man from the wrong side of Hadrians Wall I say)

Debt Collector v 'Le Kev'
Apparently Le Kev was making a one off apperance across the channel as a special guest for the Sundridge boys. Now all I would say was his appearence suggested he had been eating frogs legs by the lorry load but in the knock up he hit rolling Knicks for fun. Lots of little nudges, winks and sniggers from the gallery led DC to believe he was about to be mugged.
However, DC getting a bit old in the tooth now kept things tight and generally out of range. This did the trick and Le Kev served up a large portion of 'A la Tin' 3 zip to DC.

Zimbabwian Warthog v Ollie
Things did not bode well for the outcome of this one from a PL perspective when in far too graphic detail before the match, ZW described how he had to empty his bowls and keep them empty before having a camera shoved up his *rse at the weekend. Apparently he had no 'omph' in his legs. This turned out to be the case but the verbal diarrhoea was still in abundance. All that said ZW controlled most rallies but kept hitting the tin while Ollie worked his socks off before the mistakes occured. A good game and well run Ollie.

Captain Carrot Top v Peter
Another really polished performance from CCT. Peter is a willing runner but CCT kept the ball tight to all 4 corners forcing mistakes.
CCT playing some really good stuff at the moment, Once I,ve given him the heads up on how to mark I think he will be close to the finished product !

Grim Reaper v Andy
With the overall match at 2 all, I can't think of a better person to put your house on than the Grim Reaper to get the result. Match of the night with both players working hard and some really entertaining Rallies. Total contrast in styles between the two players but this added to the fun rather than the other way round. Andy worked his socks of but eventually GR wore down Andy's resolve and took the fourth comfortably.
Despite playing on courts in the middle of a blacked out field, It was a good evening and the Sundridge lads as always were good value.

Dropped for next week so I'm off to see if I can get this Cyborg malfunction resolved.

P.S. Hope your still having a chuckle Ravi !
