| Report: | Old Elts away this week, first two players on Mehmet V Paul and Steve V Mark. Mehmet started the match like he finished last week having a nightmare. Steve on the other court was having a nightmare all of his own. Things weren't looking good for Old Elts. Mehmet finally woke up and realised he can play squash and managed to beat an ever tiring Paul 3-2. Steve on the other hand carried on living his nightmare and lost 3-0. Next up Justyn V Richard, Justyn is on top of his game at the moment and Richard had no answer which wasn't helped by picking up an injury in the third. So Justyn won in 3. Next on Bob V Guy, Bob sporting a cold needed to get the game over as fast as possible. This worked for the first two games but then he started to go for to many cheap shot and a fight back looked on the cards for Guy. But eventually Bob got his act back together and won 3-1 bagging the bonus points for Old Elts. Last match of the night was meant to be Tim V Dave . However Tim managed to pull his groin walking down the stairs to the court. Luckily I had my squash gear with me and managed to get a point for the team. Well played Dave. Already looking forward to a re-match. |
