| Report: | The team line-up and results speak for themselves, Bromley suffering from "Wrong Night Syndrome" as the usual squaddies are programmed to play only on Tuesdays. Paul played valiantly to try and provide the only victory but David probed the few weaknesses in Paul's game and came back strongly in the 5th. Marc and Mark had a closish 1st game in which Mark was run ragged, but it was a useful learning opportunity for one who rarely plays Priory squash. Tommy looked useful at times but made too many unforced errors when he had the advantage. Yours truly was out of his depth at no 2, but Dan was was very nice about the poor opposition (after drilling me out of sight).
Dean was also kind enough to play a friendly with a new, un-nominated BLTSC member who perhaps one day will help sustain the team, on Wednesdays anyway. And a great meal Rob! |
