| Report: | This was always going to be tough with fitness first run away league leaders. I was first on against Syd, having lost to Syd earlier on in the season I was desperate to win and with the help of cold courts and my plan to drop everything and anything, revenge was mine. On the other court Terry didn't allow Mehmet to get into his stride and won in 3. Next on Bob v George and a similar result for fitness. Justyn v John was looking a good game but John always just had the edge and with Justyn tiring the mistakes started to add up, ending with a 3-1 win to John. Last on Steve v Andy, with the football still on Arsenal fan Andy just wanted to finish as quick as possible but Steve was having none of it, with Andy getting more frustrated and vocal he was lucky to get it wrapped up in 3 after some lung busting rally's just in time to see Arsenal lose. A most enjoyable night was had and congratulations to fitness on winning the league. |
