| Report: | 1st up: Elliot and Nick, and Elliot won; a little bit tighter with the shots.
Josh and Shaun:Shaun blitzed the first, Josh woke up and despite Shaun working hard, Josh in control to win in 3.
Richie and Rob: Richie too strong for Rob, but at least Rob worked hard and maybe the scoreline doesn't really reflect that.
Christian and Ket: hard match, ket runs and picks up a lot, andfor a change was dropping and boasting well, but Christian had the edge with the shot making.
So Ben and Ted: hands up who had Ben 3-0 ? But it didn't happen.He worked Ted very hard in the first 2,maybe assuming he wasn't fit enough. And Ben was carrying an injury. Ted played a conventional game ! ( unbelievable but true )and hung on and in the end it was Ben not picking up the trickle boasts to let Ted win. A great match to watch ( both players hitting unretrievable winners that were returned ! ) and in a good spirit. |
