A brief match report:
Ben vs Jason - First game was fast and furious, very close but as the match went on Jason looked to slow slightly as Ben dominated the rallies
Brad vs Ian - Lightning fast Brad putting in a very good performance against Ian.
Matt vs Will - Typically this went on for ages!! Will looking to have won it 3-0 but as Will relaxed I gave up going for shots and, taking advice from Mr London's match report a few weeks back, bashed the ball to the back of the court. Lucky escape!
Due to the above game, I didn't see Elliots game so can't comment on it I'm afraid!
Erm, ... and finally, with the evening starting very amiably and all going well, Ritchie vs Paul. Again didn't see too much of the first 3 games but a decision in the fourth somehow sparked a massive row involving the two players, the marker, and most of the spectators!
Anyhow that was put behind us and, of the players that stayed for Olley's brilliant cod and chips, a good drink and meal was had by all!!
NOT TO FORGET - CONGRATULATIONS TO DULWICH FOR RETAINING THE SUMMER CHAMPIONSHIP.
