| Report: | Liz and Claire always have a battle of the lobs and a polarised tempo of play so it is always an interesting game but this time Claire won the fifth whilst the rest of us froze on a very chilly night.Marcia reached and cut off everything and proved too good for Vanessa tonight.Janice and Helen had a long game which Helen just sneaked in the fifth.Margaret and Miriam had too much experience for Jess and Sandie but Jess did very well to take a game.Rumour has it that there is an important birthday amongst the Poult Wood team for the return match and Biggin Hill have to let someone win -well we might not be too good on Birthday presents!!! |
