| Report: | Well with no fifth players available to either team this string was no game.Jessica was up for a match but unfortunately her opponent had a late injury sustained whilst pushing a car -surely she knows that is a man's task!!Hope she is better anyway.Helen was outplayed by Margaret who seemed to have more luck on a cold court with what seemed to be a duff ball.Claire had the usual tusssle with Liz but just pipped her at the post.Well it was Janice's important birthday but Vanessa was not up for giving her that sort of gift and proved the point with a 3-0 win.The fun then started as we had ordered a cake and some bubbly and we all enjoyed it until Janice was led home by her team mates after a very large,lurid and potent looking -yes you've guessed a huge bright blue cocktail!! |
