| Report: | Old Elt's desperate for 1st win of the season did not disappoint, lower order wins for Mehmet, Steve and Pat against Chris, Peter and Gareth sealed the five bonus points. First on Pat v Gareth, Gareth just couldn't get to grips with Pat's unorthodox style and was dispatched in three. Bob v Mike, was the closest match of the night Bob taking the first two games but Mike came back strong to claim the next two. The fifth and final game swung one way then another with both players pulling out all the stops. Bob had match point but just couldn't finish the match off, well played Mike. Mehmet v Chris, with Chris having beaten Mehmet on the last few encounters I'm sure he felt confident but this is a very different Mehmet this season and Mehmet won comfortably in three. Steve v Peter, both these players seem to have energy to burn but Steve was more consistent and won in three. Last game of the night Justyn v Karl, Karl usually has the edge against Justyn and with Justyn having spent the weekend at Glastenbury rolling around in the mud and drinking even more than Tim could manage on a squash night!!! For the first two games Justyn was suffering with blurred vision so going into the third decided that he would try to play without his glasses, this seemed to work and he took the third even tho he broke his racket on the wall which apparently he didn't see, going into the fourth Karl decided to put Justyn out of his misery. Thanks to Wildernesse for an enjoyable evening and good company.
