| Report: | Old Elts started well with Pat beating Alan 3-0 and on the other court Steve was one up against Mandy, little did we know that was as good as it got! Mandy finely got to grips with Steve's power game and run out a worthy winner 3-1. Tim never looked like winning against Peter who played a tight length game. I started slowly against Karen had my chances in the 2nd game but didn't take them so Karen beat me again but I feel my time is coming. Bob tried hard against Dave but Dave must be the best number 1 in this division. Good banter in the bar and I still think Nuffield 1 will finish in the top two. |
