| Report: | With Wilderness & Old Elt's low on confidence and struggling this season both teams were looking for a much needed win. First on Gareth v Pat, earlier in the season Gareth couldn't get to grips with Pat's game and although the result was the same 3-0 to Pat Gareth was a lot closer this time. Mike v Bob, although this was a 3-2 win to Mike it wasn't a particulaly close match with both players dominating the games they won. Ian v Richard, this was a game with both players making lots of errors but also some good shots, Richard eventually won 3-2. Peter v Mehmet, Whatever Peter is on I want some of it and although he fought hard and retrived so many winning shots he just couldn't get on top of Mehmet more consistent game and lost 0-3. Last game of the night Chris v Justyn, amazingly both these players looking for their first win of the season this was a tense and scruffy game with Chris not moving anywhere near like he can and Justyn for some reason hitting the ball up the centre of the court every other shot but in the end Justyn found some form and won in 3. Hopefully this will do his confidence no end of good and I'm sure Chris is not far away from a win. Good luck to Wilderness for the rest of the season. |
