| Report: | Relegation dog fight!!! Both teams putting out their strongest teams. Old Elts coming into this match on the back of two wins and Nuffield struggling for form of late. First on Bob v Stuart and Justyn v Guy, Bob looking like the Bob of old, played some quality squash against a very good player in Stuart this match went to 5 with Bob eventually running out a very worthy winner. Justyn v Guy, Justyn at points looking uncharacteristically nervous and I guess Captain Guy felt the same with the errors mounting up Guy just couldn't get to grips with Justyn, 3 nil to Justyn. Great start for Old Elts and it set the tone for the evening with both Steve and Pat beating Paul and Mark respectively 3 nil. Only point dropped on the night was Mehmet who lost 2/3 to Richard but considering Mehmet was in considerable back pain it was a fine performance and much appreciated by the team. Three points required next week and Old Elts are safe from the drop. Look forward to playing Nuffield in the over 45's |
