| Report: | Unfortunately Jess couldn't make tonight (a Uni social event took preference!!), but that could have been crucial in our defeat as we could only field four players. Claire and Vanessa both had fairly comfortable wins, although things may have been different for Claire if Alison had managed to sneak the second game. Mira was just a bit too strong for Sandie which meant it was down to Helen to score the victory we needed. Unfortunately for her, Beckenham's Hannah Tye was home from Uni and they had a cracking game which Biggin Hill just lost in five. In hindsight I think she should have played at one, but I don't think that would have made any difference to the overall score. |
