JLO's first win.
First on court were Claire and Vanessa. Vanessa obviously wanting her tea sooner rather than later tonight, as she closed out her match while Claire was still in her second game. Claire was just as ruthless playing a below par Alison who hadn't been well during the week, and also managed a 3-0 win. In the meantime Helen had gone on court and was well up in her game while Jess was knocking up, so Jess had the whole team watching her match knowing that we had all won. Luckily she was playing Mira who she has played several times before, and on a previous occasion had actually sneaked a win. She obviously took her Dad's advice on board and cracked everything hard, straight (when she could) and to the back of the court before playing a drop, and put in her best performance of the season to win 3-1. Well done Jess!!
This was a double header for the Turner Maltby plate semi final, so it's off to Rodmersham for us later in the year.
