Report

Report:Clive said he was eagerly awaiting my "heavily-slanted" match report so here goes....

The cripled Bexley team were just too damn good for full-strength Park Langley!!!

Joss claimed another win from the comfort of his home whilst simultaneously telling his wife that he had cancelled his squash match for valentines day...if you think thats sneaky, you should see him on court!!

First on was SlackBadger vs Adam. One of the strangest games ever!! Points were mostly decided on who was concentrating at that time! Adam was caught naping at the end of the fourth and was surprised when SlackBadger turned to shake his hand. He had only remembered playing 3 games up to that point, one of which he was sure he'd won (well mostly sure!!)

Next Mark vs Clive. A close game. Clive trademark retrievals suprising Mark. Apparently some dodgy marking in the fourth and fifth contributed to the tension and the marker would like to say the players and the entire balcony are still completely wrong. Clive pipped it in the fifth and Mark was uncharacteristically seen to mutter a few profanities!!

Steve vs Matt was unfortunately not seen by the author. Steve producing another solid performance against Matt who said he needed to play more/go to the gym more/eat less/drink less - I think he was feeling unfit!

oh and Rob won...

...ok fine. Rob is the best!! He moved Andy around outstandingly, his shots selection was second-to-none, his tempered tethered and his movement was likened to that of an operatic ballet. A masterful performance by a squash god...happy now!?!

19-4 the points and Bexley move ever closer to Biggin Hill!!
