| Report: | A good night for Biggin Hill.Sandie put in a good performance and gave Jo a run for her money but Jo's experience proved too much for Sandie.Jessica showed how much she has improved this season by turning out an impressive performance against Jane.Helen had a good game with Sheena and was less distracted by the rustling of sweet papers and munching of sweets than Sheena although both of us were starving by thistime.Nevertheless we were all grateful to our sweetie benefactor on this chilly night.Vanessa was out for revenge as Janet had beaten her on their last match -Vanessa played well and revenge was sweet.Claire had beaten Sue very convincingly earlier in the season but rumour had it that Sue had a very bad night last time. Sue certainly proved it as they engaged in a superb match but Claire was hampered by an uncomfortable calf muscle which slowed her down somewhat and Sue played a steady game with very accurate serves,drops and tight balls down the line and wore Claire down in the fifth |
