Report: | Blackheath arrived with their strongest five for this encounter which had produced an epic match at their place. With squash being put before valentines night, priorities were clearly in the right order.
The starter was between the number 5s. This saw few rallies over the four games, with the match being settled by quick fire winners. 3-1 to Dulwich.
Next on was Olly and Rich at number 4. A few long rallies but with much the same conclusion at the end of most of them saw Olly home 3-0.
Dulwich seemed to be running away with it as Tom took on Phil at number 3. Movement was the key to this, another fast encounter which Tom won 3-0.
Andy Porter restored a game for the visitors which left the number 1s to provide a great finale. Richard was the fitter and stronger man playing tight shots against the flair of Jon. This match was a wonderful exhibition of squash with Jon eventually running out a 3-2 winner with a backhand volley nick.
Tasty squash all round.
Enjoyable social afterwards.
