| Report: | This will go down in history as the frostbite match! Someone had left a door open, so the squash gallery and courts were bitterly cold so quality squash was at a premium. Beckenham played their trump card in Cathy who had a comfortable victory over Sharon. However the rest of the team was unable to capitalise on the luxury of having a strong no.1. Alison and Maggie both managed to win a single game to salvage a little pride, but both Jenny and Mira were beaten in straight sets. Mira reckoned her opponent, Emily, would have had a good game with Cathy, so it was a very one-sided match. The hot showers and fish and chips were very welcome, and Cathy's 30th birthday was celebrated with a yummy chocolate cake, so a very happy ending to the evening.
