| Report: | Tough night for bexley missing their no.1
No.1
Josh has been playing well of late but Neil looked incredibly fast when I joined the match in the 3rd (all the commando training paying off), some great rallies but Neil had the edge 3-1.
No.2
The first two games were crucial in this match, if Mark had taken them then the outcome may have been different, it went 1 all then a sluggish Mark went down without putting up much of a fight with Lewis putting in his usually array of flicks and boasts to win it 3-1.
No.3
Matt was back in the team after a few weeks out, he looked rusty and Sam won the match without too much trouble.
No.4
The first game was a long one, in fact at 8-8 Mark and Lewis went on for their 3rd game next door and they finished that before Brad and James had completed their game. By the looks of things the tough first took it out of James and after a brief momentum change in the 3rd Brad came back strong in the 4th to win 3-1
No.5
Shaun was returning after a lengthy break and after putting up a brief fight in the 1st he succumbed to the stronger Matt (after the drugs had kicked in), 3-1 Matt.
Another nice curry for those who stayed, much discussion on the merits of Greco Roman wrestling as a sport and Neil’s new training regime.
So only 6 points for a title chasing Bexley and another tough match next week against ParkLangley possibly without Ben again.
