Report: | Dulwich secured the Priory summer league with solid win over the closest opposition, Bexley. The away side started well enough with Ben winning the battle of the captains. As always he came out firing on all cylinders and held on to an early lead to win the first. Although Tim managed to avoid getting carved up, there only ever looked to be one winner, despite Ben trailing 4-8 in the fourth. Probably the for the first time ever it was Tim who called set-one, that’s what too many pina coladas do to you and Ben took full advantage.
Thereafter it was the borough of Dulwich that took control. First Chris won in three, but not before Brad had shown the tenacity that you expect from the Masters clan. Jim was in imperious form inflicting an unusual loss on Mark, who normally leaves Dulwich the victor. Neil made it a tough night for the Masters, clinically disposing of Josh and Andy wrapped things up with a straight games win over Matt.
So with a clean slate on rule infringements,
Dulwich were able pop down to Olleys and pick up the celebratory fish & chips with a conscience that the sponsorship is paying dividends!
Now have to pack for Prague, sadly not for the type of trip Sam & the Bromley boys enjoyed in Zagreb!!
