| Report: | Great match but BCC fielding two injured players put us on the back foot from the off and with Brans Hatch fielding their ringer lol it made them a much stronger side who ordinarily we would have hoed to beat.
Tom & Eliot went on first but I didn't see any of the match but by all accounts it was a good encounter with Tom proving too string for Elliot, apparently 6 weeks in 'Shagaluf' doesn't help your squash.
Big Andy went on with Matt who got the better of Big Andy on our last outing so revenge was the order of the day. Starting off playing to Matt's strengths didn't help but a quick change of pace, less is more sometimes, gave nothing for Matt to feed from and Big Andy took the match 3-2.
Both Stewart & Graham were injured and the score speaks for its self, brave effort!!
Last on was John and Dave, this proved to be an epic encounter with Dave having to run a little more than usual as John managed to reach most balls at a folly and at least get a racquet on everything else. With John 6-2 up in the 5th and Dave spent we thought this was a dead cert but a bit of bad news just before John went on court was playing on his mind and he seemed to tin most after this point and so Dave took the match which clinched the fixture for Brands Hatch, well hung in there by Dave.
