| Report: | Park Langley welcomed Cobdown, sporting 3 juniors in the side, who had battled the snow to make it up from Medway, looking to keep the seasons good form going...
First on court: Nilen vs. Chris
Chris looking a little subdued and started slowly but after the first game warmed up and started showing some nice play. Nilen always too strong in the end though and controlled the game through to see out a 3-0 win.
Over on graveyard court: Robbie vs. Dave
PL's own junior taking on the experience of Dave, I didn't see a shot of this one but I can assume that Robbie didn't take kindly to losing last time around and delivered his usual wham bham style to make amends.
Rich vs. Chris
A good match here, Chris playing very well to force PL's captain to earn every point! In the end just a little too loose at times and Rich capitalising when necessary.
Paul vs. Dan
Again I didn't see a shot of this as I was playing at the time but Paul was always going to be strong at 2nd string, routine victory.
Last on Adam vs. Ian
Adam having already told the rest of the team to win "because I feel like chucking up", looked like doing exactly that and in the end a player of Ian's quality saw it through comfortably.
Good night, credit to Cobdown for bringing out a team with so many absences but looks like they've got a strong junior line up anyway! |
