| Report: | Valiant efforts to overturn the form book came to nought. Nuffield brought their healthiest side to make sure of crushing the lowly KP2 and their absent Captain (sorry, Manager) will not have been disappointed with the result.
Peter D came to revenge his 3-0 defeat at the hands of David in the first half. Job done. Mandy managed only to prolong the agony of a narrow defeat for JJ, by allowing herself to be distracted by the marking in the middle of the 3rd game.
Darren did just enough from the middle of the court to see off an almost rejuvenated Mark. Lots of holiday excesses in evidence on both sides, though.
New boy Stefan confused Peter Y with his unorthodox style for two games before the wily veteran pulled him back. Another 'so near and yet so far' for the home side.
Only Tim failed to register any points for basement respectability, but Nick was clearly in no mood to repeat his sluggish start in the reverse leg.
This result will not have helped Knole 1, who need to keep their eyes over their shoulders now if they are to avoid being caught by the charging Nuffield hordes.
