| Report: | An enjoyable evening with the PL boys and supporters as always.
Matt and Stuart probably the contest of the evening, Matt proving too consistent in the end.
Dave's quality of shots more than made up for the lack of fitness though Si's ever present error count certainly helped.
Guy and Simon was understandably one-sided, even the promise of a free holiday to Barbados from Mr Kimber could quite raise Simon's game enough to get the requisite two points in the 3rd.
The sly fox certainly showed up, a seemingly match ending "injury" lead to Alisdair taking the first though some magic spray and a wealth of experience (though given his age that's probably under-selling it) saw him through.
Finally was Ollie and Kev and it was a bizarre one with Ollie's seemingly ever decreasing fitness giving Kev the win. As Stuart put it, Ollie looks like he's good enough to have won this comfortably but he won't be the last person that Kev beats despite looking exhausted. "Desire to win" was probably the difference.
It sealed the win for PL and should be an interesting return match. |
