Report:BEXLEY PUT THE SKIDS UNDER BCC

BCC suffered their 3rd defeat in 4 games as they were sent tumbling down the table by a resurgent Bexley.

BCC were without their number 1 for a 2nd consecutive week. King Lewy had contracted a mystery disease from his escapades in Belgium and Spain, hopefully he'll have regained his fitness for next weeks meeting at Dulwich.

Porky Vs Mark Steady Steeden (Numero Uno)

Student is slowly regaining his fitness (apparently) after a year at uni, however he is being ridiculed for being Porky (according to one-liner) and has now taken over that mantle from Dutch Prodigy.
El Capitano was on court at the time of this match, so was unable to give a bias view of his brothers performance.
Judging by the scoreline, the heat and fatigue began to trouble Porky and he went down 3-0. Porky did want me to say that despite his lack of fitness, nothing should be taken away from Marks' impressive performance.

El Capitano Vs Badger (Numero 3)

El Capitano promoted himself to number 3 to take on Badger. El Capitano decided to employ some slow tactics to cope with the heat. Badger had other ideas and moved El Capitano around at will.
The first two games were drawn out affairs but Badger had enough in his locker and won them both by the same scoreline.
However, El Capitano wasn't going to let his team down, he dug extremly deep and fought throughout the 3rd game. A lucky let call (cheers JT) at 8-8 gave El Capitano a chance, and he closed out the 3rd 10-8.
Having put all his eggs in one basket, and completely drenched through sweat, El Capitanos' form nose-dived in the 4th. Badgers' superior fitness saw him win 9-0 and the game 3-1

Dutch Prodigy Vs Steve (Numero 2)

The last thing you want when it's so hot is a match against Steve. At 50 years of age, his fitness levels and powers of recovery are remarkable. Dutch Prodigy is no slouch, but Steve was just so much more fitter.
Dutch Prodigy ran into a early 4-0 lead in the 1st, but then it all changed in a flash. Steve wacked the ball at Dutch Prodigy, leaving a nasty bruise on his calf. However there was no offer of apology from Steve. The normally laid back Dutch Prodigy took this insult badly and he let his anger build up inside.
Although the scoreline was emphatic the rallies were still hard and long, with Steve making Dutch Prodigy play that one more shot.
Despite the defeat Dutch Prodigy was sporting some new trainers, better than his girlfriends' ones that he wore on thursday.

One Liner Vs D Thompson (Numero Cinq)

The trendy team that is BCC were all sporting fashionable flip-flops. One-liner was not to be out-done and decided to join in with the fad.
However someone forgot to tell him that we weren't in Germany. His trendy flip-flops clashed with a gastly pair of white socks, and he was subject to much ridicule from the rest of the young team. Apparently his wife had told him that if he didn't wear socks he would get the sniffles.

El Capitano was again doing his bit for the team, marking on the opposite court, so he had the misfortune of witnessing another emphatic win by one-liner. Despite injuring his leg whilst sitting on a bar stool at the weekend, one-liner maintained his 100% winning record.
He may be behind in the fashion stakes, but he's surely the best Numero Cinq in the league!

JT VS TRIM LEWIS (NUMERO QUATRO)

He's shed 22 pounds in the last 4 weeks through a diet of running and no alcohol. Rob is a changed man.
JT on the other hand is struggling to find his form at the moment.
El Capitano missed the first 2 games, but appeared in time to spur JT on in the third. Some suspect marking by Porky (according to Trim Rob) ruffled Trim Rob, and he began to revert back to his old self. JT sensed an opportunity and seized on it, nicking the 3rd game.
With the Germany Italy match close to penalties, supporters had split loyalties. Luckily though Trim Rob took a breather in the 4th and handed it on a plate to JT.
After every one of his shots that went down, Trim Rob shouted 'Good Shot Rob' 'Good Shot Rob'.
It began to catch on in the gallery and with JT. Trim Robs' demons were beginning to get the better of him.
However Trim Rob surprised everyone in the 5th and pulled himself together.

Despite another defeat for JT, a mid game recovery will surely provide him with some self belief that he can compete at this high level.
As for Rob, did you know he's lost 22 pounds in 4 weeks?

El Capitano and Porky will be larging it up in Poland and Berlin over the next couple of days.
Watch this space for some saucy stories.

...just thought I'd pass on my teammate's sincere thanks to BCC players AND BARSTAFF for their (HER!) remarkable hospitality. Wonderful! Badger
