| Report: | The first match on was the number 3's from what I understand Keith was outplayed in the knock up but then went out to win in 3. Tubby playing at 5 for the first time this season took control for the first 2 games before a spirited fight back from Paul in the 3rd but Tel regained control to take the win in 4. We had Bob - Martin playing at 2 Martin taking the early lead to go 7-2 up before contriving to hit 5 in the tin Bob winning the first Martin fought back well to take the 2nd before going 7-2 up in the 3rd Deja Vu Martin loses it again followed by the 4th, Win to Bob. Mark and Ash set off at a good pace Mark winning the 1st, Tubby then gave Ash some advice to which Ash loses the 2nd 9-0, however Ash then comes back to win the 3rd, 4th & 5th. (So Tubby's advice was obviously right but it just took a little longer for it to sink in !!!) Match to Bromley. The number 1's then took stage, Ian putting up a good fight for the first but not able to respond so well in the 2nd and 3rd.. |
