| Report: | A good win for Bromley in the derby match v Canons. Tubby started the night off winning a tight fought first game before getting control of the next two over Alan. Keith meantime was battling with Mandy for a win in 5. Next on was Nick and Karen but Karen's experience was too much for Bromley's youngster. Gary in the battle of the knees and fresh for his win last week managed to get the better of Robert over 4 games. Leaving the No1's to battle for pride. Ian took the first two comfortably with Zeb apparently out of sorts with his game the racket (borrowed from Alan) and Ian's winners. However Zeb changed his racket for the 3rd and his fortunes changed as he was a lot more positive and took the next two games comfortably. But in the 5th Ian took control again and Zeb again appeared out of sorts so a Win for Ian (his first of the season). |
