| Report: | Fifth and sixth places up for grabs. Losing streaks for the retired KP captain and his veteran stalwart 'PJ' to be maintained.
Behaviour impeccable by both JJ and Chris Morgan, thanks to massive support by Ian and Richard's toddlers and wife giving ingenuous encouragement from above. Not a grown-up bad word to be heard. So refreshing!
A gritty performance from Gary to edge it from the fluent Pascal. Gary cements his number 3 slot for the serious Winter business.
'PJ''s mind and body are elsewhere (Brussels?) at present. We wish him a speedy recovery. Perhaps the Over 45s rematch against Mandy next week will be the medicine he needs.
Chris Sayer has more than made up for his unauthorised absences earlier in the Summer. He is just coming into form in time for the Over 45s season (but as the only KP player not eligible for this, his timing is questionable).
So, honours to SP, who sneak above KP in the league table. JJ managed to acquire the only pudding available following ample and tasty meatballs. His cup runneth over. |
