| Report: | Some good matches especially Keeley v Chris and Dan v Aaron. Both BCC’s players came out on top.
Mike got thumped 3- by Kevin and I was getting thumped by Ian, but then in the third game a 3-3 Ian’s hamstring went when overstretching to retrieve a deep drive. It was only a matter of time before Ian had to retire injured. As they say, …a win’s a win.
Ian cruised through the first two games against Luke but then had to fight hard in the third to take it 3-0. Good to see the new knee supports have stopped the constant stoppages between points as he rearranged his old knee supports and his girdle.
Sausages were on the menu again. There were more sausages left over than usual as Mike “the Sausage” had to leave early. I thought that this meant there would be plenty left over for me to take for Friday’s lunch, but I didn’t anticipate on Keeley stashing away most of them to feed her family for a week. Next she’ll be off to the food bank. |
