Report

Report:A strong Dulwich side to the trip to the Wells and stole all the Gold.

First on were the ones and twos. Jason and Neil started off the first game by trading shots with a few rallies in between, towards the end of the game Neil started to rally a bit more which suited him and the score (in his favour). Having worked this out he extended the rallies in the next two games to steel an win. On the "SHOW COURT" Tim apparently was "just awesome" according to JP and took a 3-0 win.

Next up were the fours and fives. Mike put up a good fight against Antonio but struggling with his left leg the weakness was soon pounced upon and Antonio made short work of the next two. On the other court a hum dingier of a battle was starting, I was marking then playing so didn't see a single point of this match. But the 1st game finished as the last would 13/11 in this case to JP. This battle continued all the way to the 5th game where by all accounts JP was shaking WILL's hand as will stuffed the cross court into the tin, this meant will had match ball and in a reversal of the first took it to win 13/11 in the 5th.

Last on was yours truly and Jim. Now this would normally be a nice easy 3-0 win for Jim but something wasn't quite right and his movement was laboured, something I never have a problem with (If I did I'd be even worse). This meant the match progressed with me doing 15 court sprints a rally and Jim either Tining it or slotting it into the nick. Saying that there were some really tight rallies down the backhand and according to Neil I hit a roll out nick at one point (I Think fatherhood is having an effect on him!). In the end Jim had just enough class to take it 11/8 in the 5th.

A nice curry a few beers and the Dulwich team left wanting to hug and kiss each other. I'll let them explain that when you play them ;)

Cheers Guys, A good evening :)
