Report

Report: A Dark wet windy night at Langley towers welcomed the Mighty Dulwich albeit the 4s but still a strong set up.

First up Champ v Colin ,not seen Colin play before but looked very quick and took a surprised first game, With a little coaching from superman Gina got into the groove and started playing some super squash first blood 3-1 .

On court 4 ex captain T shirt v Marlow Missed this one as marking but by all accounts XCT was in no mood to hang around 3-0 apparently a private massage session at the weekend has worked wonders .
Next up Superman v Olley Now superman was complaining of a bad back and that his superpowers were needed for his birthday bash in Las Vegas this weekend his 45th . Sorry make that 30 . Having seen Olly play many times this could be a tough one ! It wasn't superman mustered up a fantastic display well played.
Back on court 4. Porky plumber v steve. The Langley water was full of fizz tonight as all players came out at 100 mph and this was no exception 9/1 9/0 A split ball in the third saw steve Pegg one back but PP put it away in the fourth a fine performance .

Last up Cheap v Lycra These two danced and held separated then held again a performance Len goodman on strictly come dancing would have giving a 10 for . Anyway some squash was played and simon took the first , Ben then changed his game and started causing simon a few problems 1-1 , into the third and the dancing started again we had spins- splits - more holding and a complete pirouette the audience was a gathering ! 2-1 Ben. The fourth was expected to have Simons name on it but not to be Ben closed it out 3-1. The crowd left disappointed as a five setter would have been great.

So a 4-1 win against a very good team we look forward to the return.
