| Report: | Langley Towers was alight last night as the 3rd V 2nd did battle to secure their 100% records something had to give !
First up Porky Plumber V Jack , A hard fought first game saw porky do a little more running than normal and Jack sneaked the game .The same in the second Jack just doing enough to secure the game and looking good at this point .A change in pace for the third game and Porky was winning whilst taking a breather 1-2. Porky had a good run in the fourth and we were set for the fifth . With one hour on the clock already the Langley crowd was getting value for money ,the fifth was a bit too much for Porky and those little legs of Jacks ran away with it ,a great match to watch and mark.
On court one Ex captain T shirt V Andy ,didn't see much of this as marking but Andy had his chance in the first but with Kev now on a roll after his massaging weekend he was always going to win this one ,super job Kev .
Champ V Mark , Mark started this at a fast pace and raced to 9/1 to take the first,Gina for herself back into the game with some long rallies and was infront all through the second 1-1 Mark then pushed on to take the third but the hard work was now telling and Gina was working the rallies again winning the fourth all square .The fifth was very tight but Gina had just had enough to finish and win a fantastic match played by two respectful players and a credit to our club.
Meanwhile on the other court Cheap V Fergus ,Another ding dong battle between two similar players Fergus with the shots and Simon with the legs. Simon pinched the first from 4/8 down ,but Fergus then controlled the T and took the next two ,simon got back to the plan and worked Fergus in every rallie to level it 2-2 .The last game and Simon had his man in trouble and closed out his best performance and first win of the season and gets man of the match and a win for the 3rds .
Last on AB v AR , This was a dead rubber and was over very quickly adam too strong for me on the night ,well played Adam.
So a 3/2 win for us and a great evenings squash was had by all ,chilli and rice with a few peroni chucked in for good measure - let the banter flow job done .
There was no real winners tonight just squash and our fantastic club .

Totally agree, squash and PL club was the winner, great night.
Fantastic atmosphere at the club and well done to all the members who came down to watch and give loads of LOUD verbal support.
Thats what Tuesdays are all about.
