| Report: | A Great second half match against tunbridge last night in the air conditioned Langley towers - it won't work when we need it in the summer anyway -
First on Porky Plumber V Simmo A good start from Porky in the first two but then it all changed as he ran out of ideas and Simmo kept on working hard for a great win .
On court 1 Champ v Neil A close opening game both players having chances ,into the second and the champ stretched her legs and coasted to yet another win . Match 1-1 .
Cheap v John. John normally wins when these two play and tonight was no different john always having the legs and winners when it mattered .
Superman v Paul Another fast start for super to take the first two ,the. Paul getting into the game to steal the third .the fourth had some good rallies but superman always had the lead although tiring he held out to take the match ,only 1 decision to make whilst marking and tough one to call but I did and stuck with my decision . Match 2-2
So into the last match -up -
Ex Captain T shirt v stefan
These two again have had some very close 3/2 before so I was expecting no less from this one and so it was .
At 2 matches all and 2games all it got all tooooo close both players working hard and the crowd very loud at 8-8 it was nearly over - no hang on let's go 9-9 both players had the chance but mighty Kev took the last point to win 10/9 and the game and the match wow .
Great squash and played in a great spirit man of the match Kevin &Stefan
So a very very narrow win and a late Bangers And Mash or if you're veggie you get a great omelet salad and chips . |
