There were comfortable wins for BCC at number 2 and 3, but yours truly struggled at number 1 as did our last minute replacement, Ali ‘Super Hero’ McMeckan, although he got a well deserved game against George. (If only all juniors played in the same spirit and attitude as George). So at two matches each it was down to the number 4’s, Dan & Paul, to decide the outcome of the match. Although not as his best, Dan was well in control and had match ball for a 3-1 win. From this point Paul fought back to take the game and didn’t drop another point to win it for Bexley. Hopefully the four pieces of brownie cake George ate didn’t keep him awake all night!
