Report: | Not a good start for Sydenham as they rang on the afternoon to say they were a player short. This meant James was stood down but then put back on standby and then re-instated as Keeley had to pull out because of feeling unwell.
All matches were well contested but the best match was between Ryan and Tats. Tats played well to pulled it back to 2 games each after looking like he had spent all his energy early on. From 7-2 down Ryan managed to come back to win and even learned the art of calling for lets late in the game.
Ian was a bit off form in his match against Dale, but he was missing his now trademark head band, so it was understandable.
Thanks go to Dan for coming to watch the team but not sure how much he saw given the number of Peroni's he sank. I decided against asking him to mark a game as not sure he would have seen the ball or the players.
No leftover food this week so Ian and I will have to buy our own lunch today :( |
