| Report: | The 2's and 5's kicked the Match off Martin continuing his good run of form until the 3rd when he went 8-2 down but from getting the service back he apparently then hit 8 winners in a row to take the game 10-8. Ron also kept his form to take the win 3-0 dominating the 3rd. At 1 Ian renewed his battle with George but was out of sorts in the first game which George took easily with some great winners but Ian came back to take the 2nd before losing in 4. At 3 the Vets fought it out Keith controlling the first 3 games until he got to match ball 8-2 up before Terry made a come back to get it to 8-8 Keith eventually winning it 10-8. This gave Tubby Tel the chance to play the captains innings and take the 3 games off Syd to give Bromley the 18 points they needed to get at least 2nd spot. Syd tried all his shots to no avail as Tubby Tel got the 3 games Bromley needed. |
