| Report: | A top of the table encounter that never really got firing apart from the 2 duffers at 4th string.
Can't really report on 3 games as I was on the other court for all of them !!
Well played Andy for a good solid performance against Ian who given the chance can crack winners from all over the place.
I wouldn't say game of the night but scrap of the night might suffice between DC and Andrew.
I think there were 2,625 let calls in all (3 from DC) which kept Lennox on his toes for a very long time in the marking chair.
Not sure who was the most tired at the end, the players or the marker !!
Despite Andrews continual requests for lets, he's still a top bloke as he went and got the Peronis in when DC was less than capable !!
A good night at Langley with a good battle next door going on with the firsts against Bromley CC. Led to a good atmosphere and as usual good support from the members. |
