| Report: | Last game before Christmas and the first half has gone in a blur.
Hartley not quite as strong as normal with Matt out at two (hopefully see you in the second half big man)
This was the match of the Mitterers with Mikey putting his older brother in the shade by getting his first win for the team and doing it in some style.
After a nervy start with Mark battling back to 8/8, Mikey just did enough to sneak it and gain some confidence which just grew and grew as the match went on.
Winners came thick and fast in the third to wrap up a good 3/0 win.
Didn't see much of Chicken Legs Lennox and Dave but clearly their usual marathon did not happen with CL getting things done fairly rapidly.
Game of the night was Cheap and Dan.
With Dan looking pretty out of sorts for the first two games things looked like they would be done and dusted pretty quickly but a late fight back saw Dan knick the third.
Cheap went walk about in the fourth which set up a really hard fought fifth which saw Dan throw in the towel half way through after a disputed call by Chicken Legs.
Quite amusing at this point as Chicken Legs probably moved the quickest he had all night to get Dan back on court which he duly did and sneaked the game 10/9.
So after what can only be described as a Chelsea style start to the season the come back fortunately gained a head of steam which Jose cannot match.
So off to get fat for a month before waddling around court again some time in Jan.
